The electronic version of Mise en Place: The Culinary Knowledge Game can be played on a computer by an individual or projected onto a screen or Smart Board^™ for full class participation. This interactive learning tool offers instructors the opportunity to introduce or review culinary terms and concepts in an interactive game format. where they encounter realistic workplace scenarios, terms, and concepts.

Players begin as entry-level employees and answer questions in each of six certification areas with the goal of being promoted to Apprentice, Sous Chef, and finally to Executive Chef to win the game.

Players also encounter “tally it up” questions about measurements, recipe conversions, and the use of fractions and percentages.
